did you ask them if the processing date on the website includes applications received on July 2 also? I know it is not clear... but maybe if you had asked them...?
Mine is July 2 and he said my file is with in processing dates and they should be working on it so I wd assume it is <=

I came from India to US on a intercompany transfer on L1 Visa. After 3 yrs I left the company and joined another one on H1B. Now I Joined back the old company and in the mean while my old company sold its Indian subsidiary. I am asking them to file an EB1 for me, but they are telling me that since they have sold the Indian Subsidiary, now they cannot file EB1 based on that company transfer.
In my view the eligibity is determined based on the fact that I originally joined that company on a company transfer.
Please let me know your view.

I hope they are, too. Some birds seem to feed the young much longer than others, even after they've left the nest. I'd suggest taking a large *Do Not Disturb* sign with you tomorrow. Or perhaps "Approach at Your Own Risk*.

I think the problem is with the Poll.
The moderator of the thread needs to correct it. I got my GC but when I try to go and poll change my status to card received it tells me I have already polled. Unless I am missing something.
So 74 people were current (not sure how many of them got approved) and 24 polled to say they got approved.
So mr moderator can u correct the poll ??
could it be true that only 23% of the folks who became current in May have got the approvals ? It almost the end of the month, I know that it need come in May but still...
or is it a case of people not bothering to come back here after the gety approvals -;)
Can someone start a thread for June approvals...
I know that June approvals will come only in June....but no harm in starting it and getting a count on how many are current starting june

Jasmin - Thanks for ur reply. I know there are several posts regarding pay-stubs. but I was un-clear with the pay issue after filing I-485 thtz why I opened a new thread. I am sorry if it is not appropriate.
But I ve seen in some of the posts where ppl say that we can be on vacation, self-employed etc etc...what does it mean? do they still need to produce pay stubs....My Pd is Nov 2006 it may take several yrs..do they really dig deep from there to my first entry?
Its always safe to have paystubs for atlease 180 days after your 485 receipt date. If they call you for an interview at local office during adjudication, which may happen after anywhere from weeks, months, or years, there are chances that you may be asked to produce paystubs starting from month before interview date all the way back to your first H1 entry into US.
Please do not open new threads for these question for which there are several thread opened and are being discussed thru. Why don't you ask this question on one of those post?

PD current does not gaurentee any thing...
May be people who are short sighted may stop visiting.
But people who are seeing the whole picture would

I am in a similar situation...I have been on an F1 visa for the last five years, and have just applied for my OPT. I will start work this August on my F1 OPT, and my employer was going to apply for my H1B visa shortly. However, my husband is on an H1 visa, and thanks to all the dates being current, he can now file his I-485.
I would like to know if I can apply for an H1B *after* my husband files our papers for an AOS (I-485). The reason I ask is because I am not sure how long my husband's EAD will take to arrive (I have heard that perhaps due to everything being current, EADs and Advance Parole applications might get backlogged), and I know my OPT will expire next summer. Therefore before we make any decisions about I-485 filing I need to know if I will be eligible to apply for an H1 visa when I already have an AOS application on file.

How did you open Expedite SR, I opened SR nearly five times, took two InfoPass, yet not FP ?
I just got lucky..it was the second time I called on the same day. First time I jiust got one more SR (4th one). the next time I called about 2hrs later I asked her the status of my 2nd SR and told her the whole saga of how long I have been waiting and about my PD becoming current blah blah....
I have told the same sob story many times but this lady seemed to go the extra mile and put in an "expedite" request. She herself volunteered for that and told me that I would hear back in 5 days which I did. I opened the SR last Friday and I had this letter in my mail today.
Just keeping fingers crossed and hoping the notice comes thru.
I will keep you guys posted on what happens.

Have you gone out of the country and came back to USA on H1B visa after that ?
If so, you are safe. Status is checked from the last lawful entry into US ( entry using AP does not help).

When you leave US, your I-94 attached to your passport (Old One) will be taken and once you re-enter, another I-94 (with same number as on your I-94 issued with your H-1B approval) will be issued and attached to your passport.

Now when we leave the country they automatically take then I-94 attached to the passport. What happens to the I-94 with the H1B approval. Are we supposed to give that away as well? I have left and entered the country 2-3 times but never surrendered the I-94 attached to the h1B.

If this is a possible solution, have your Mother-in-Law visit Canada temporarily for a few day and have her come back to US. I am just floating this idea for discussuion.

Good info vxg. Thanks. I am wondering though how come your job duties didn't change when you got promoted from an engineer to a manager, unless I guess you are an engineering manager and not a business development manager? Just curious. :)
My duties increased, in past i was doing more tech work now i mostly manage people who do the same tech work but as i said it's all subjected to the lawyer and employer.
